We have another cask currently maturing in Scotland available in our August auction. This cask is maturing on Islay at the Bruichladdich distillery. It’s an excellent and very classical Port Charlotte sitting at a nice strength that is ready to bottle now or within the next 1-2 years.
We've managed to source another whisky cask which will be featuring in our May 2019 whisky auction. This is the fourth cask we've had up for auction from the Tobermory distillery and possibly the most appetising to date. This cask would currently yield approximately 280 x 70cl bottles of whisky currently at 23 years old; with an ABV of 54.2%. If you would like to imagine what this whisky tastes like, we've produced some bespoke tasting notes from the cask sample.
This month’s auction features three whisky casks that are currently maturing in Scotland. First up is a an excellent, and at times unusual Macallan. This would currently yield approximately 208 x 70cl bottles of whisky currently at 28 years old.
Maturing stock is becoming a regular feature in our monthly auctions now. And this month we have another Macallan cask that will hit 30 years old in June next year. Have a read of our tasting notes and let us know what you think…
