Selling whisky on eBay or Facebook is neither safe nor legal. Our bespoke online whisky auction platform is the best way to sell your whisky online.
We are 100% focused on getting you the very best price for your whisky. Our auctioneers Wayne & Harrison Ormerod don’t over-promise in their free valuations and work tirelessly to over-perform on the final hammer price. Our team are on hand to assist you at every stage of the auction, keeping you up-to-date throughout the whole process from initial valuation to final payment.

Great experience as a first time…

Great experience as a first time lister. Having not used an auction site to sell whiskey previously, I think there can be a certain amount of trepidation in the entire process. It was a simple, clear and easy to follow journey and payment was received on the day they said it would. Will certainly use again both as a lister and purchaser. Would highly recommend.
REGISTration
Registration is free if you're solely a seller and don’t wish to buy anything at our auctions. So please do not pay the £3 registration fee if you do not wish to bid.
A member of our team will create you an account if you haven't done so already, once this has been done you will receive an email to activate your account. On the email click the link at the bottom, this will take you to our website where it will ask you to set up a password. Once you have set up your password your account setup is complete.

An excellent experience from start to…

An excellent experience from start to finish. My bottle was collected from my home address and a week later it was auctioned. I could view the auction and price increases. Within 10 days the funds from my sale were in my bank account.
7 DAY LIVE AUCTION
This is the fun part! As soon as the auction starts, all your listed items will be available to view in your Account Area. You can monitor all your items live as the auction progresses from early bids right up until the frantic last moments of the auction.

HOW OUR WHISKY AUCTION WORKS
All auctions start at 8pm (20:00) UK Time and will begin to close down from 8pm (20:00) UK Time seven days later. This gives all our bidders plenty of time to create a watchlist, ask any questions and place their bids.
In the final 10 minutes before the end of our auction, any individual Lot that receives a bid will have its finishing time extended by 10 minutes. Any further bids after 20:00 will reset a 10-minute timer for that Lot until no further bids have been placed within 10 minutes.
This is the most important time of our auction and the moment when our buyers have to be fully engaged to catch the bottles they want. Bidders have the option to add Lots to their Watchlist. This makes it easier to narrow down their selection and monitor their top priority items as the end of the auction approaches.
Items we do not accept
All Lots are checked by our whisky specialists Wayne & Harrison Ormerod prior to any auction. We do not auction opened bottles, so before sending in any items please make sure you have checked they are unopened and sealed and they do not include the following:
• Opened bottles
• Empty or low-filled decanters
• Non single malt whisky miniatures
• Unofficial memorabilia
If you send in any of the above these will not be accepted into the auction and any return costs are your responsibility.
