Whisky-Online at Limburg Whisky Fair 2019
The Whisky-Online team were on the road again last weekend, with our first ever visit to the famous Whisky Fair in Limburg. The show, which has been going since 2002 has a reputation for being the biggest event in the European whisky calendar, so we made sure to pack some truly fantastic whiskies for punters to try - we like to make a good first impression!
March Auction Results 2019
Our latest auction featured a nice mix of the surprising and the consistent. The top lot being, rather predictably, the 1946 Macallan at £13,500. Down a little from our previous sale of this bottle at £15,100, and considering this was a 75cl US market version this perhaps could be seen in some lights as a bit of a bargain. However, we should remember this is still a pretty serious price for a bottle we were all speculating about whether it would ever break the five-figure mark not so long ago.

Old & Rare Whisky Show 2019 Report
From Black Bowmore to Macallan via Port Ellen and Clynelish... Whisky-Online Auctions had a great time at The Whisky Show: Old & Rare in Glasgow Central Hotel a couple of weekends ago. The show was the third of its kind, and Whisky-Online has been at all of them - but this year we had a bigger stand, so we brought more incredible old whiskies than ever before!
