Tobermory Whisky Cask For Sale
We've managed to source another whisky cask which will be featuring in our May 2019 whisky auction. This is the fourth cask we've had up for auction from the Tobermory distillery and possibly the most appetising to date. This cask would currently yield approximately 280 x 70cl bottles of whisky currently at 23 years old; with an ABV of 54.2%. If you would like to imagine what this whisky tastes like, we've produced some bespoke tasting notes from the cask sample.

Welcome to our May Auction Preview! As ever, we’ve got hundreds of great bottles in this month’s auction, so without further ado here’s a quick rundown of some of the most interesting lots.
Alex Barclay Miniature Auction Part Four
It’s time for the fourth of our series of auctions featuring the collection of the president of the Mini Bottle Club, Alex Barclay. Last summer we collected over 5000 miniatures from Alex and he was kind enough to talk to us about this magnificent collection here. This month’s auction features another raft of fantastic miniatures and is dominated by Cadenhead’s - below are just a few of the highlights so make sure to check out the auction in full!
February Auction Highlights 2019
Due to the sheer volume of interesting whiskies in our February auction, we're going to do things a little different this month. Apart from the dedicated Blog about all the Diageo releases in this sale, we will rattle through whiskies bottled during numerous decades as well as individual distilleries and a haul of Islay Festival releases. It's worth mentioning a large proportion of the whiskies featuring in this sale originate from a single collection bought from the late 1970s up until very recently.
November Auction Hightlights 2018
If there’s ever a whisky worthy of the word ‘legendary’, it has to be the Black Bowmore. And if you’re ever going to splash out and buy one, I would certainly look no further than this example. Sadly, the Black Bowmore’s are usually notorious victims to the ‘Angel’s Share’ and particularly the first editions; which many have been officially re-sealed over the years due to their wax seals.
