This bottle contains the very first batch of The Eternal Reserve and was distributed in advance of the whisky becoming commercially available.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bottle is accordingly marked “Not For Sale”, having been produced as a pre-release presentation rather than for sale to the general public. The recipients were being given the opportunity to try the whisky several months before it became available in shops and bars.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Eternal Reserve introduced Royal Salute's Circular Blending process, whereby a portion of the original blend was retained and incorporated into each subsequent batch.
