His son, Young Teddy, followed him into the distillery in 1985, before the third generation, Derek Maclean, joined in 2017. This bottling was created as a tribute to Old Teddy and to celebrate the expertise and dedication passed down through the Maclean family.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePersonally selected by Derek Maclean, the whisky was bottled at a substantial 51.7% ABV, with the label describing a West Highland malt showing rich orchard fruits, dried berries and zesty citrus peel.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnly 3,960 bottles were produced, with the release available exclusively from Oban Distillery.
