These early White Horse bottlings have since developed an excellent reputation, offering a particularly rich, powerful style of Lagavulin with layers of peat smoke, maritime character, dried fruit and sherry cask influence.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe popularity of Lagavulin grew rapidly following the introduction of the Classic Malts, to the extent that supplies of suitably mature whisky became increasingly stretched.
