This extended secondary maturation brought a distinctly vinous character to Glenmorangie’s typically elegant Highland spirit, with the distillery’s tasting notes highlighting dark chocolate, orange peel, red fruits, almonds and oak spice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBottled at a generous 46% ABV and non chill-filtered, the Côte de Beaune Wood Finish belongs to an important period in Glenmorangie’s history when the distillery was developing and refining the wood-finishing techniques for which it would become particularly well known.
