Along with neighbouring Glen Albyn and Millburn, it formed part of Inverness's once notable distilling industry. The distillery eventually came under DCL ownership before closing in 1983 and was subsequently demolished.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGordon \u0026amp; MacPhail were important custodians of Glen Mhor whisky, bottling numerous expressions under their Distillery Labels range at various ages and strengths from the 1970s through to the 1990s. These releases helped make Glen Mhor available as a single malt during a period when much of the distillery's production would otherwise have been destined for blending.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis particular 8-year-old dates from the early 1990s and is presented with the traditional Gordon \u0026amp; MacPhail licensed Glen Mhor label, depicting Inverness Castle.
