Distilled in 1969, the whisky dates from an increasingly sought-after period in Glen Mhor's history, when the Inverness distillery was still in full production.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGlen Mhor was established in 1894 beside the Caledonian Canal in Inverness and, together with neighbouring Glen Albyn, became an important part of the city's distilling heritage. The distillery was acquired by the Distillers Company Limited in the 1970s before closing in 1983 during the widespread rationalisation of the Scotch whisky industry.
