Glen Albyn was one of Inverness’s three malt distilleries and closed in 1983 during the widespread rationalisation of the Scotch whisky industry, before being demolished several years later.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBottled from a single cask at a substantial 57.8%, this 1979 Glen Albyn carries the SMWS name “Sugar and spice”.
